Dubai:The graphite reinforced bat used by Australia captain Ricky Ponting and several other leading international players is to be withdrawn after it was ruled to have contravened the laws of cricket.

Sahara retracts, to remain as sponsor of Indian team

Mumbai: Sahara India Pariwar, which had withdrawn its sponsorship of the Indian cricket team after the International Cricket Council's (ICC) sponsorship and logo controversy during the Champions Trophy at Colombo recently, on Monday decided to continue its support to the team.

Kenya fine as venue; security check must: ACB
