Bangalore: Karnataka Home Department on Monday sought a report from Mysore police following reports that leading cricketer Javagal Srinath was ill-treated at a police station at Mysore where he had gone to lodge a complaint.
New Delhi: As tainted former Indian cricketer Manoj Prabhakar, wanted for his alleged involvement in cases of misappropriation of public funds, continued to elude the Law, the Uttaranchal police on Tuesday stepped up its efforts to track down the former all-rounder by deciding to send special teams to Delhi and Rajasthan to arrest him.
