George (South Africa): The wreck of the plane in which disgraced former South African cricket skipper Hansie Cronje died is being salvaged and will form part of a memorial, a friend of Cronje's said on Tuesday.
Bloemfontein: Some 2,000 mourners turned up Wednesday at Hansie Cronje's old school in Bloemfontein for the funeral of the disgraced cricket star, who died Saturday in a cargo plane which slammed into a mountain in the far South of South Africa.
Johannesburg: Disgraced South African cricketer Hansie Cronje was killed on Saturday when a plane in which he was a passenger crashed into a mountain in the far south of the country, Sports Ministry spokesman Graham Abrahams said.
