Delhi police busts betting racket, kingpin arrested

New Delhi: Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a highly organised betting racket during Wednesday's semi-final match between India and South Africa in the ICC Champions Trophy tournament, arresting one person who had been allegedly conducting 'satta' (taking bets) on cricket matches for the past two years.

Inter-state cricket betting racket busted

Ahmedabad: With the arrest of six persons, police on Friday claims to have blown the lid off an "inter-state cricket betting" racket in the on-going One-day match between Pakistan and New Zealand being played at Rawalpindi, official sources said.
