It's crucial to reach the WC super six stage: Kapil
Bhopal: Former India captain and ac all-rounder Kapil Dev has said that India can win this year's World Cup only if it managed to reach the last six of the tournament. "All the teams that make it to the last six stage of the tournament are almost of the same strength and calibre. And the team that plays well on that particular day will lift the Cup," the former skipper told reporters on Monday. Stating that there is no need to be disheartened by India's poor display in New Zealand, Kapil said one should look at the team's performance in totality in last 10 months. "One should not worry about the fact that not many rate high India's chances of winning," he said. "After all even in 1983, no one rated us highly. Yet we managed to win playing some inspired cricket," the former all-rounder added. Extras:
