Indian players undergo second dope test ahead of WC
Mumbai: Indian cricketers, bound for South Africa for the World Cup beginning from February 9, underwent a second dope test on Tuesday. According to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sources, the results of the test, initiated by the International Cricket Council (ICC), would be known only in South Africa. "The Indians had undergone first dope test during their 43-day tour of New Zealand where all the 16 players were cleared. However, to be on the safer side they underwent a second test on Tuesday," the sources added. The Indian team is scheduled to leave for South Africa on Tuesday night. All participating teams in the competition will be randomly tested at least once for the duration of the tournament. Extras:
