Zimbabwe will not play England in South Africa: ZCU
Harare: Zimbabwe will refuse to meet England in South Africa if its World Cup clash, scheduled to be played here on Thursday, is shifted. Zimbabwe had already stated that it would resist any attempts to allow England to dip out of its February 13th encounter on security grounds and would insist it be granted the four points because the English would be judged to have forfeited the game. Reminded that Zimbabwe has always said it would refuse to play England at a re- arranged South African venue and whether that is still the case, Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) chairman Peter Chingoka was clear where his team stood. "That is still the case," he said.
