Cape Town: Dashing opener Virender Sehwag, who has had a poor run in the World Cup, on Saturday received confidence-boosting support from captain Saurav Ganguly who was also full of praise for middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh."Sehwag is a top class player and there is still lot of cricket left in this tournament. If he fires in the main games, he would have done his job. We have full faith in him," the Indian skipper said.Praising Yuvraj Singh's resourcefulness, Ganguly said the young left-hander had a "great, great future for India". "Yuvraj is a match winner. He does it day in and day out. He has won us games from nowhere. He had to go through a lot of tough time for various reasons but all of us in the team have a lot of faith in him," Ganguly said. Ganguly, who scored a magnificent unbeaten 107-run knock to shape India's six-wicket victory against Kenya on Friday, said Yuvraj kept the pressure off him with his hectic hitting."The way Yuvraj bats he takes the pressure off you. He keeps taking singles and hitting boundaries. I knew if I could just hang around, we would see it through. Yuvraj has a great, great future for India," the Indian skipper said. Yuvraj's unbeaten 58 followed his superb half-century against Pakistan at Centurion. Coming in to bat at 108 for four on Friday, Yuvraj had a cautious start before he raced his way to his unbeaten 64-ball knock. PTI
