Kolkata: Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly on Wednesday said that spirit of the Indian team was 'very high' and it would try its best to win the World Cup.
''Our team spirit is very high and we will try our best,'' Ganguly said during his telephonic discussions with the West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee who contacted him in Cape Town during the day and wished the captain to win the World Cup.Bhattacharjee said that he failed to talk to Ganguly in his first attempt to contact him since Saurav was in his practice session.However, Ganguly got back to Bhattacharjee over telephone at his state Assembly chamber and assured that Indian side's spirit was very high and it would try its best after the Chief Minister hailed Indian victory against Pakistan wishing ''captain, we want the World Cup''.Chief Minister said he could collect Ganguly's telephone number from state's Urban Development Minister Ashok Bhattacharya.
