Cape Town: India's opening batsman Virender Sehwag may be in doubt for the rest of the World Cup after sustaining a finger injury during practice ahead of the Super Sixes opener against Kenya.
Sehwag injured the index finger of his right hand while fielding at Newlands andwas rushed to hospital for X-rays. It was feared the finger may have been broken which could rule the hard-hittingbatsman out for the rest of the tournament.Copyright AFP 2001
