NSW Blues wins T20 Champions League '09

Hyderabad: Brett Lee's spectacular knock of 31 ball 48 and a wonderful spell from Stuart Clark helps NSW Blues to win the title of premier edition of the Twenty20 Champions League

Brett Lee bludgeoned a 31 ball 48 as NSW Blues thrashed Trinidad and Tobago by 41 runs in the final of the Champions League T20, in Hyderabad on Friday.


Chasing a target of 160 runs, Trinidad and Tobago were all out for 118 runs in 15.5 overs.

Put in to bat, the Australian side recovered from a poor start through Steven Smith (33 runs) and Brett Lee (48 runs). Ravi Rampaul took three wickets.
