Abu Dhabi: Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik won the toss and decided to bat in the third and final day-night international against the West Indies at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium here on Sunday.
Pakistan kept faith with the same team which won the second match by 24 runs on Friday for a 2-0 lead. They won the first match by four wickets on Wednesday.
Pakistan were again forced to sit out Shoaib Akhtar who missed the first two matches due to a calf injury. Team manager Yawar Saeed said Akhtar has almost regained fitness but was not risked.
West Indies dropped wicket-keeper Carlton Baugh to bring Brendan Nash back in the team as their only change, handing Xavier Marshall wicket-keeper's duty.
