Bhajji will be back for Nagpur Test
HarbhajanNagpur: Chairman of selection committee  Krishnamachari Srikkanth is confident Harbhajan Singh will be fit for the fourth Test against Australia in Nagpur.

Off-spinner Harbhajan missed the third  Test match in New Delhi due to a toe injury.

"Harbhajan will be fit for sure," Srikkanth told the Times of India.

"I have spoken to him and he is raring to go for the last match of the Test series."

India fielded two leg-spinners in New Delhi, captain Anil Kumble and rookie Amit Mishra, with part-time spinner Virender Sehwag also chipping in.

Nagpur awaits match of milestones

Kumble announced his retirement towards the end of the Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla, but Srikkanth has backed Mishra and Harbhajan to preserve the home side's 1-0 advantage.

He added: "There is no need for a replacement for Kumble as of now.

"Amit Mishra had a dream debut in the second Test match against Australia in Mohali and in my opinion he did a good job at the Feroz Shah Kotla."

Mishra finished with a haul of seven wickets on debut, including a five-for in the first innings, but claimed just two wickets in Delhi.

Nagpur pitch may turn spinner-friendly

"The wicket was flat and had little for the bowlers and still Mishra did a decent job," Srikkanth said.

"You can't really fill Kumble's shoes immediately, but these youngsters certainly have talent.

"Kumble had a good chat with Mishra the other day and he is also convinced that the young leggie can do a job for the country."
