
Mumbai: Indian Cricket League"s (ICL) executive board has relieved Mumbai Champs coach Sandeep Patil from his duties of the Mumbai Champs, according to a media release.
Patil had requested the executive board to release him for the current season as he needed a break.
“In the interest of the team, I had requested the board to relieve me from the current season"s duties, which they have accepted," Patil said. Mumbai Champs have had a below par performance in Season II under Patil.
Cairns, Mongia dumped out of ICL However, Nathan Astle continues to be current captain.
