Confident Lee ready for India
Lee ready for IndiaMelbourne: Speedstar Brett Lee is set to return to Australian team for Indian tour which begins next month.

Lee's split from his wife of two years, Liz Kemp, last month raised doubts over whether the paceman would be available to play in the four Tests, particularly after he withdrew from the current one-day series against Bangladesh.

Despite playing 68 tests, including eight for five wins and two draws against the Indians, Lee has never played a test match in India.

Fast bowler spent time with his teammates today for the first time since he split with his wife.

Lee is sitting out the one-day series against Bangladesh after being given time off to deal with his marriage breakdown, but he declared himself ready for selection for the four the high profile test series against India..

"Absolutely. Im looking forward to it. Cant wait," the Daily Telegraph quoted Lee, as saying.

Lee said it had worked well spending time away from the game, and he was looking forward to achieving his long-held ambition of playing a Test match in India.

"That"s something that"s been burning inside of me for a long period of time now, so I"ll be looking forward to getting over there," he said.

"Indian crowds are brilliant, the people are so friendly and lovely. It"s a tough place to play cricket but also one that is very enjoyable," he added.

Lee took part in Australia"s light recovery session, comprising kicking footballs around, following the side's win over Bangladesh in yesterday"s second one-day match.

Brett Lee's availability for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy defence is a major boost for Australia's planning, given the likely absence of allrounder Andrew Symonds.
