Guha, Gunn bowl England eves to big win over India

England, yet to lose a game in a magnificent summer thus far, having beaten the Windies and South Africa, continued there winning streak with a disciplined effort both with the bat and ball.

India, electing to bat in their first overseas tour this summer, were immediately in trouble when Jaya Sharma departed lbw third ball to Guha without scoring, with incoming batsman Asha Rawat also following the suit for a duck.

Guha's new ball attack partner Kate Brunt sent Sulakshana Naik caught Sarah Taylor for 5. The opening burst of new ball attack left India eves reeling on 6/3.

Amita Sharma and Mithali Raj attempted to rebuild Indian innings with a 48-run stand before the Buckinghamshire-born English medium pacer of Indian origin returned to bowl her second spell and foiled the Indian plans by removing Amita Rawat.

Gunn, introduced late in the innings, got into wicket-taking act immediatly as India collapsed to 124.
