Lahore: South Africa's Graeme Smith won the toss and elected to bat in the second and final cricket Test against Pakistan played at the Gaddafi Stadium here.

South Africa, who won the first Test in Karachi by 160 runs, remained unchanged, leaving veteran all-rounder Shaun Pollock sidelined.

Pollock was dropped for the first time in his 107-Test career for the first Test in Karachi.

The Test is the last for veteran Pakistan batsman Inzamam-ul Haq. The 37-year-old Inzamam and fellow batsman Mohammad Yousuf made their way into the eleven at the expense of Faisal Iqbal and Mohammad Hafeez.

Yousuf dropped out of the first Test at the last minute, citing lack of match fitness.
