Kolkata: All-rounder Ajay Jadeja, allowed by the court to play domestic cricket, said he still hoped to play for the country in future and had "four years of cricket left in me". "You never know, I may play again (for India). I still have four years of cricket left in me," Jadeja, who was in the city to promote his maiden film 'Khel', told newspersons in Kolkata. Jadeja, who was banned from playing by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for his alleged role in the match-fixing scandal, recently got a fresh lease of life when a Division Bench of Delhi High Court allowed him to play domestic cricket. "It (playing for India again) is something that is not in my hand, but I have always lived with hope. I am keeping myself fit for that," said Jadeja, who is playing a lead role in his maiden film. Asked about the BCCI objection to the Delhi High Court order, Jadeja said, "The court is hearing their views and then it will hear our pleas. "The court order came after about three years (since BCCI imposed the ban on Jadeja). I do not know how long it will take, but you can't help it. The procedure is like that," he said. Jadeja said he now wants to play domestic cricket as much as possible and perform consistently. Jadeja, who is currently doing duty for Public Sector Undertaking ONGC in local engagements, said, "I am here to play cricket for anyone who requires me. I want to play the Ranji beginning in November. Already five states have talked to me in this regard."
