'Govt should decide on resuming cricket ties'
Bangalore: Cricketers Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble said on Tuesday it's for the government to decide on resuming bilateral cricket ties at the senior level with Pakistan and refrained from giving their personal opinion on the issue. When asked by a reporter if they thought clearance should also be given to bilateral senior-level cricket tournaments, Kumble said, "It's not in our hands. Let's wait and see what happens." Subscribing to Kumble's view, Dravid said, "It's not in our control. We want to control what we can control." Government on Monday cleared BCCI's proposal for participation in junior tournaments involving Pakistan.
