Karachi: Blind cricketers from India will come to Pakistan this winter to play five One-day matches. This is the plan of the Association of Cricket for the Blind in India (ACBI) and the Sports Ministry in New Delhi has approved of it, the chairman of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) Agha Shaukat has been quoted by 'The News' as saying. The tournament starts on December 12 and the venues are Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi. Shaukat informed that the matches would be organised with the help of the government and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Efforts will be made to have games televised "to promote Indo-Pak friendship." Meanwhile, an Indian 'A' team is scheduled to visit Pakistan in November to play in a triangular series with the hosts and Sri Lanka. But the PCB has not yet received final word from the BCCI.
