Kochi: A superb knock of 92 by Sathish and his 144 run fifth wicket partnership with J Harish 43 enabled Tamil Nadu score 340 for 9 in its first innings and clinch a 33 run lead against Kerala in its South Zone Under-25 match on the penultimate day. In form Jessubabu Honeyman scored a quick fire 76 off 67 balls, while captain Vasanth Saravanan chipped in with 32 to boost the Tamil Nadu total. For Kerala, Shaju Mather took six wickets for 119 runs and Sony Cheruvathor, 3 for 80. Earlier, resuming at its overnight first innings score of 292 for 9, Kerala was all out for 307 in 99.5 overs. In another match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Andhra conceded a 13 run first innings lead to Karnataka. Resuming at 10 for 1, Andhra scored 212 before being all out in 79.4 overs. Nagagangadhar made a brilliant unbeaten 94 off 208 balls, hitting 10 boundaries. Karnataka's C Raghu captured 3 for 49. In its second innings at draw of stumps, Karnataka had made 36 for 1 in 15 overs. In the other match at St Paul's, Hyderabad, replying to Goa's first innings total of 251, scored 330 before being all out in 79.2 overs. Anirudh Singh 92 and Mohammed Imran 82 were the main scorers for Hyderabad. Goa's Robin D'souza took 4/84 and S B Yadav 3/130. Goa, in its second essay, was struggling at 57 for five at draw of stumps. Indrasekhar Reddy did the bulk of the damage by claiming 4/15.
