Hyderabad: South Zone defeated Central Zone by seven wickets in the One-day Deodhar Trophy match at the Gymkhana grounds on Friday. Central Zone, put into bat, scored 220 with the help of a skippers' knock of 81 by Amay Kaurasia. South Zone surpassed the target with an unfinished fourth wicket partnership of 161 runs between N Arjun Yadav (96) and S Sriram (89) to win the match with 10.1 overs to spare. South zone collects 4 points from win and one bonus point for the pace of scoring.
