Chennai: For the second successive day, incessant rains played spoilsport, forcing the organisers to abandon all the three matches in the Petro World Cup for blind, in progress since December 3.
All three matches - England vs Sri Lanka, Pakistan vs South Africa and India vs Australia - scheduled for Saturday, were cancelled and will be played on December 11, the rest day. The teams - South Africa and Sri Lanka and Australia and England - shared points from their abandoned matches on Friday due to rain. India is the only country to have drawn a blank, losing its match to England, while South Africa and Australia lead the table with six points each from two matches. England and Sri Lanka have accrued six points and two points respectively from three matches.
