Indian team to embark on Kiwi sojourn on December 1

Mumbai: The New Zealand-bound Indian team will leave on its 47-day tour from Kolkata on December 1.

According to an Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official on Thursday, the team management decided to fly out from Kolkata though no reason was given as the team was initially to leave from Delhi. The BCCI secretary, S K Nair had announced after the selection committee meeting on November 25 that the team would leave for the Kiwi land from Delhi on November 30. The Indians are scheduled to play two Test matches and seven One-dayers in New Zealand.
