Mumbai: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and left-arm seamer Zaheer Khan, who missed the ongoing One-day home series against the West Indies due to injuries, are fit for the 47-day tour of New Zealand commencing from December 1, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary S K Nair said on Friday. Nair said that Tendulkar, who had hamstring injury and Khan, a shin injury, had completely recovered and were available for the New Zealand tour. "They have been declared fit by the Board's doctor Dr Anant Joshi and will be available for New Zealand tour where the Indians would be playing two Test matches and seven One-dayers apart from a three-day side game," Nair added.
