Hyderabad: Hosts Hyderabad bowled out Andhra for 352 to gain a first innings lead of one run and was 240 for 3 in its second essay on the penultimate day of the four day Ranji Trophy match at the Gymkhana Grounds on Tuesday. Andhra, resuming at 274 for 5, made no major impact with only skipper M S K Prasad holding one end and went on to score 130 with 19 hits to the fence off 202 balls while wickets were tumbling at the other end at regular frequency. Misjudging the flight, Prasad gave a return catch to spinner Shivaji Yadav and was the ninth wicket to fall at 347 but last man Shyam Sunder was also dismissed by Shivaji when Andhra score was 352 one run short of the host's score. For Hyderabad, Shivaji Yadav claimed five for 87 runs while speedster took four wickets for 90 runs. In the second essay, despite the early loss of opener Daniel Manohar (4), Nandkishore and Arjun Yadav worked in tandem to add 75 runs for second wicket before Nandakishore was stumped by M S K Prasad after a well made 69 with 10 hits to the fence and Yadav followed him soon. First innings double centurian A T Rayudu (70) and Vinay Kumar (52) were at the crease when stumps were drawn. Rayudu's 70 was a result of his 148 minute stay at the wicket with one six and nine fours while Vinay had 11 fours to his credit. Speedster Shahabuddin, R V Ch Prasad and Appa Rao claimed one wicket each for Andhra.
