Bangalore: International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive officer Malcolm Speed will arrive on a two-day visit to India on Tuesday, according to an official press release. Speed will meet with ICC World Cup 2003 sponsors as a part of the ongoing work to resolve player terms ahead of the mega event, the official release said. It may be recalled that the player terms issue almost torpedoed the ICC Champions Trophy tournament in Sri Lanka with many players waging a war against their national boards on the terms set by the ICC with regard to their personal sponsors. Speed will be accompanied by other members of the ICC management team, the official press release stated.
