Bangalore: As part of brand-building exercise, pharmaceutical and healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline on Monday announced "Boost World Cup Sip-a-Trip" offer, a consumer promotion initiative.
It was launched at a press conference here by Kapil Dev, Boost's first brand ambassador and Wisden Indian Cricketer-of-the-Century. The entry point for the promotion, senior company officials said, is the purchase of two promotional packs - 500 gm jar or 500 gm refill pack. Apart from the guaranteed offer of a trendy sports watch on the purchase of any two packs, consumers have a chance to compete for 120 tickets to South Africa for the World Cup 2003 (complemented with two nights and three days stay) and 200 colour TVs, they said. The promotion is being launched in Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, it was stated.
