Melbourne: Victoria beat champions Queensland by four wickets in the Sheffield Shield cricket match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday.
Leg spinner Cameron White scored the winning runs, taking Victoria to 163 for six in the morning session on the final day. White was unbeaten on 29 and Darren Berry made five. It was the first time Victoria had beaten Queensland in a four-day game since March 1996. Victoria gained six points for the outright win to go on top of the standings.
