Bevan smashed 29 fours and two sixes. Shane Watson was the pick of the Tasmanian bowlers with four for 85. In Melbourne, champions Queensland claimed innings points after dismissing Victoria for 164 at the MCG. The Victorians looked to be heading to innings points when it was 117 for two but collapsed to be all out for 164. At the close, Queensland was 73 for four with Martin Love unbeaten on 31.
