Four Bangla cricketers hurt in Dhaka road accident
Dhaka: Four players from Bangladesh's national cricket team were injured on Wednesday when their taxi overturned, an official said. The Bangladesh Cricket Board official said the vehicle flipped up while averting a collision with a truck in the capital's Dhanmandi area. Batsman Alak Kapali and Tushar Imran were given first aid, but Tapash Biswas and Rafiqul Islam Khan were hospitalised, the official said. "The injuries do not seem to be serious, but doctors are making sure and they were thus hospitalised," the official said. Bangladesh has one of the highest death tolls in road accidents in South Asia.
