Srinath, Nehra likely to play in West Indies series
Chennai: India's pace bowler Javagal Srinath and Ashish Nehra are likely to play in the forthcoming home series against the West Indies commencing from October 9. Answering queries from reporters at Chennai airport, India captain Saurav Ganguly, indicated that both Srinath and Nehra would be playing in the series. Ganguly had arrived here from Colombo on Tuesday morning. Asked to comment on the Champions Trophy final, he regretted that rain had played spoilsport of a match where India had a good chance to win. He said India was in a good position to take on the West Indies. Later, he left for Kolkatta. Rest of the Indian team is expected later in the day.
