Liverpool: West Indies 'A' was 128 runs ahead of Lancashire at stumps on the second day of its four-day tour match on Thursday.

The tourists finished on 38 without loss in their second innings after making 369 first time around and then bowling out Lancashire for 279. West Indies 'A's Devon Smith, who started the day on 167, was eventually out for 181. Former England batsman Neil Fairbrother made a determined 101 and Graham Lloyd 68 for Lancashire. But the home side's progress was checked by three run-outs as it finished 90 behind on first innings. Fairbrother, Lloyd and Ryan Driver were the men short of their ground, with Reon King, Sulieman Benn and Darren Powell taking two wickets apiece for the tourists. West Indies 'A' captain Daren Ganga will start Friday on 11 not out with Chris Gayle unbeaten on 23.
