London: New Zealand captain Emily Drumm's unbeaten 63 guided the Kiwi women to a seven-wicket triangular series win over England at Durham's race course ground on Tuesday. Drumm shared an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 35 with Haidee Tiffen as New Zealand cruised to its victory target of 112 with 19 overs to spare. But the match was virtually over as a contest at half-way with England bowled out for a meagre 111 - a number superstitious English cricketers believe is unlucky. The final England total was a minor triumph after a collapse saw the innings subside to 66 for eight. Only a ninth wicket partnership of 35 between Isa Guha and Laura Spragg took England past three figures. New Zealand now leads England by four points with India yet to register a point in the competition. The next match of the series sees India play New Zealand at the race course on Wednesday.
